Dear Evan Hansen - Covey Theater

Covey Theater is proud to bring the first non-professional production of the Broadway smash hit Dear Evan Hansen to CNY audiences! Winner of 6 Tony awards, including Best Musical and Best Score, the title character’s journey ask you to “Lift your head and look around, you will be found.” 

July 31-August 9 at the Everson Museum’s Hosmer Auditorium

Please note: Full-price August 7 tickets are SOLD OUT. Obstructed view tickets are available for a severely discounted rate of $20 ea. 

Q. "What is obstructed view?"  

A. We take our audience's experience very seriously and do not wish to charge patrons full price for seats we feel do not live up to full-price expectations. So, we have labeled certain seats as obstructed view, because of 2 reasons:

1. the drummer at House Left has a plexiglass drum shield around him to control volume. Since it is taller than the stage by about a foot, some viewers may find it distracting. 
2. the second row is very close to the stage and the orchestra, and some viewers may consider the proximity unappealing. 

We have sectioned off the above areas and will charge only $20 for patrons to sit there, as opposed to $38. If these sections do not appeal to you, and you prefer a full-priced seat, we recommend attending a performance that has not sold out of full-priced seating.
